My name is Ntombi Mabaso, I am a professional thrifter and aspiring environmentalist.
I started thrifting as a way of getting out of debt and saving money.
As time progressed, I learnt about the environmental impacts of the clothing and textile industry and the devastating harms of plastic in our ocean and environment.
I now try to live a more sustainable life and educate others about how small changes in our daily lives could have positive impacts for our environment.
It has been a fruitful and beautiful partnership with the women and we hope to expand into an amazing art center for the community.
Our photography and marketing is run by, Ziyanda a video technology student. She has brought creativity and passion to our team.
Our baskets are handwoven by Mam'Majozi and a group of local women. Mam''Majozi puts all her passion into creating each piece.
